For over 30 years, I, Kanchan Poddar, have been crafting achars for my family and loved ones, using traditional recipes, the finest ingredients, and a whole lot of love. What started as a simple tradition of gifting homemade achars soon became something much bigger. Friends and family kept coming back for more, and with every jar, our little circle of achar lovers continued to grow.

It was my daughter, Drishti, who saw the potential to take my passion beyond our kitchen. She believed that the flavours I had been perfecting for decades deserved to reach households across India. With her encouragement, entrepreneurial spirit, and a shared dream, Rasaveda was born, a mother-daughter brand bringing together generations of tradition and a fresh vision for the future.

While I continued doing what I love most, making achars by hand, my daughter took our flavours to exhibitions across Delhi NCR, introducing people to authentic homemade pickles and the bold, unique flavours of Northeast India. The response was overwhelming, and what began as a mother's hobby slowly transformed into a brand we are incredibly proud to call our own.

As a mother, I have always believed in feeding my family nothing but the best. That same philosophy lies at the heart of Rasaveda. Every jar is 100% mom-made, handcrafted with carefully selected ingredients, traditional recipes, and absolutely no added preservatives. My daughter ensures that this love, authenticity, and commitment to quality reach more people, without compromising what makes our achars special.

In today's fast-paced world, the beautiful tradition of making achar at home is slowly fading. Between busy schedules, limited space, and the time it takes to prepare a perfect batch, not everyone gets to experience the magic of nani, dadi, aur maa ke haath ka achar.
