Our Story
For the past 20 years, I, Kanchan Poddar, have been crafting achars for my loved ones and family. Over time, the demand for my achars grew, as friends and family couldn't get enough of the delicious taste and high quality. During the 2020-2021 lockdown, my kids encouraged me to share my achars with the world, leading me to start taking orders. What began as NE Pickles quickly evolved, with more varieties added. My daughter showcased our authentic North Eastern flavors at exhibitions around Delhi NCR, offering a refreshing alternative to commercial pickles. The response was overwhelming!
As a mother, I have always prioritized providing the best quality and ingredients for my kids and my Rasaveda family. Each jar of achar is 100% mom-made, lovingly created by me using traditional recipes.
In today's busy world, the art of making achar is fading due to time constraints, limited space, and the effort it requires. However, my passion for achar-making ensures that you never have to miss out on the cherished taste of nani, dadi, or maa ke haath ka achar. Each jar is filled with love and care, just like home.

What is Rasaveda?
Rasaveda is a blend of two Sanskrit words: "Rasa," meaning essence or taste, and "Veda," meaning knowledge or wisdom. Together, they signify the profound understanding and appreciation of flavor.
